Rooted in nearly two decades of leadership capacities in hospitality and healthcare fields, Masahiro’s expertise encompasses Total Quality Management (TQM) with primary focus on human capital through structured, dynamic performance improvement methodologies in the arenas of workforce engagement, change leadership, process management, and training for leadership and front-line employees.
Following the completion of his undergraduate studies in Japan, Masahiro commenced his career with international upscale hotel brands, and in 1999 joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC. During his tenure, he held several leadership roles, gaining an in-depth understanding of employee engagement owing to the organization’s partnership with Gallup. From 2013 to 2018, Masahiro served the healthcare field at New York-Presbyterian Hospital where he assumed the undertaking of both corporate and regional leadership responsibilities, exerting his skills and value for a cultural transformation to instill the foundation of employee engagement.
A Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence, Masahiro dedicates his intensive passion for excellence in workforce experience and engagement to every individual he serves. In addition to his Master certificates in Hospitality Management and Healthcare Change Leadership from Cornell University, he is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Management, with concentration on Human Resource Management, at University of Liverpool.
