Long’s work at IQS Research uniquely leverages his background and interest in mathematics, economics, and business. Using quantitative methods and analytical prowess, he finds patterns and meanings within data.
Prior to joining the IQS Research team, Long worked for Chase Bank in Louisville and Aviso Financial, LLC in Seattle. In the latter role, he particularly enjoyed the opportunity to apply technical analyses to the evaluation of investment projects. He also served as a teaching assistant for the Math department at Hanover College where he focused on calculus and discrete mathematics. As fond of sharing knowledge as he is in gaining it, Long spent three years of his college career tutoring other students in statistics and economics. Fluent in both English and Vietnamese, Long hold a B.A. in both Economics and Mathematics with a concentration in business from Hanover College.
In addition to his work at IQS, Long spends his free time drawing, painting, taking photos, and cooking. He also loves to travel, as he has explored the Southern states of the US, Western Europe, and East Asia.
