Biography
Margo joined IQS Research in 2021 after coordinating marketing and communications in a variety of industries, including the Brown-Forman Corporation in Louisville, an online resource center for authors, and a therapeutic equine activities nonprofit in Indiana. These broad experiences, coupled with her background in journalism, have given Margo many opportunities to learn about new and unfamiliar subjects quickly and effectively, a task that comes up often for the research study coordinator. Her commitment to meaningful change and the pursuit of knowledge is drawn upon every day at IQS.
Margo holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from Ball State University, with a concentration in Public Communication. Throughout her time in school, Margo utilized her writing and organization skills as the lead copy editor of the student newspaper, a writing intern at a historical nonprofit, and the social media coordinator for the Department of Communication Studies. Her senior thesis, The Ball State University Honors College Oral History Project: Lessons & Reflections, employed her research and interviewing skills as she conducted months of historical and educational research in preparation for six hours of video-recorded oral history interviews.
Outside of IQS, Margo enjoys viewing and performing in local theater productions, hiking along nature trails, and attending museums and musical, artistic, and cultural events.
